Lab for Student Projects

Ten Hoor 27 Archaeology Laboratory (Anthropology Department)

This secure space is a “teaching” laboratory for archaeology classes and student archaeology projects. There is an office for a graduate student with a computer and small library, abundant table and storage space, a separate “wet lab” room with two sinks for receiving, washing and processing materials from the Moundville field archaeology class and other field projects, and a projector-screen station for illustrated lectures. ANT 466 Laboratory Methods in Archaeology and ANT 468 Ceramics for the Archaeologist are among the “hands-on” active learning classes taught in this lab.
